Our Ministries

Boise Friends Church offers a variety of ministries both to our church family and to the community. We hope to minister to both spiritual and physical needs. Some of the following ministries are held here on our campus and some are ministries we support that take place elsewhere. While we can’t meet every need, we are open to hearing how BFC might minister to you.

Wednesday Night Classes: Every Wednesday night at 6:15, a tasty, home-cooked meal is prepared and served in the BFC fellowship hall.  After we share dinner, a variety of adult classes (with diverse topics such a Bible study, finances, or parenting) and programs for children and youth are offered.  Classes are held between 7:00 and 8:15.  Besides enriching classes and groups, Wednesday Night offers a valuable opportunity for church fellowship outside of Sunday morning.

C.A.R.E. Program: A new ministry has recently been established at BFC: CARE – which stands for Connection, Assistance, Resources, and Encouragement – helps to connect people with the church and community resources they need.  These services include coordination of meal delivery, childcare, and transportation needs that may arise for individuals and families.  Other times, it may be coordination of community resources to help with support and care. This ministry also helps initiate the activity of the BFC Benevolence Fund.

Little Friends Indoor Park: Between the months of November and March, BFC opens the doors of our spacious, heated gym to children aged 0 to 6 and their parents.  With a variety of age-appropriate toys, fun equipment, and plenty of room to play, Indoor Park is a much-needed place for little ones to burn off energy during the cold and rainy winter.  In addition, Indoor Park provides much-needed opportunities for parents and caregivers of young children to connect and build friendships.  Admission prices have been kept very low and affordable; Indoor Park is self-funding but not a profit center for BFC.

  1. Zandra – We’ve been closed over the holidays, but will be starting again Jan. 8 & 9, and going through March. And yes – your punch card is still good. Hope you can join us. Every Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. – noon.
